Overall View of Designer Handbags

For the past two weeks, I have been concentrating on making my paper clay designer handbags. Coz I myself really likes branded handbags. And I do have a few LV, Gucci, Burberry and Prada handbags. Of course, it is impossible to afford so many expensive branded handbags. However, I think it will be pretty nice to have miniature branded handbags to display around the house. And best of all, I can have as many as I want.

End results for these two weeks

Designer Handbags (Part 3)

Actually there wasn't much tutorials to demonstrate more variety of making paper clay handbags. But with a bit of imagination and surfing the Net, I finally could come up with more designs....

The designs on the LV handbags are not hand drawn. My drawing is bad. These are actually pictures taken from Goggles and printed on paper. Then I went on to find many other different brands...
Another LV design I came up with

After researching from the various tutorials from youtube, I had found the basic technique to make speedy design LV bags.. And also the basic black Chanel bag. I was so inspired by her brilliant ideas. From there, slowly, I created my own style of designer bags.. I am pretty satisfied with the results after these two weeks..

Handbags collections

These are the few handbags that I have made recently. However, I would like to make more variety of bags. I just bought some small pieces of cloth materials. Hopefully, I could incorporate the cloth and polymer clay to re-create more different kinds of bags or accessories. And taking this opportunity, I would like to thanks my hubby for his support and patience to look around many places with me to find my crafting needs.

Sorry for the long delay in updating my blog..... I was away for a while and also my lovely son was down with influenza for a week. Ummm, I was so tired out. So I had to closed my workshop for so long till my lovely son fully recovered.

This time, I had bought a lot of polymer clay magazines for references. And I decided to make a series of handbags as the main theme. But first I need some things for the background as well. The coffee table for this project is a totally new concept. It is completely different from the others that I had made. It has a see through surface in which underneath the see through I had placed some sea shells and corals. To make the effect, I made some tan colour polymer clay to look like sand. The see through is actually a piece of transparent clear plastics sheet. And the sea shells and corals are ready made.

Then, I moved on to make the sofa. Also, I tried to make a different style this time. In order to give it a more classic look, I painted part of the sofa gold colour. This is the second sofa that I have made so far. As the main theme is bags, I have made a few variety of handbags. For the bags, I got the ideas from a polymer clay making magazines. Next time, I would like to try out some branded handbags as well (under the request of my family). Hehe....... I have already found some good tutorials on youtube on making branded handbags. Will definitely give credit to my great youtube teachers for their brilliant ideas..... Coz I would like to try to make some polymer clay shoes, watches and some other small accessories and together with the branded bags for my next project.
